I had to fix a tent for a friend who is a reenactor. my car doesn't like anything but Singer needles-I learned a long time ago that this old singer is nothing but trouble if I try another brand. makes no sense, but it works well if you are a singer, but becomes very balky with something else. any sewer is not what I mean (and Yes, I have another machine that will run well on anything, but I don't want to use with canvas). These got to where I was, when I could not find anything
